IFL Debate Club, established since February 28, 2001, has gained its popularity amongst IFL students and other universities in promoting confidence in public speaking and professional debate skills in an endeavor to foster the values of critical thinking and well-informed citizen within youths at their primes. The club offers its members weekly debate practices that allow them opportunities to improve their skills in public speaking and debate, alongside other sub-skills relevant to debate. Our debaters conduct debates on multiple thought-provoking and controversial topics including but not limited to economy, politics, environment, social values and principles of life. The club has expended the perimeter of focus to standard adjudication and professional debate training. The newly established programs are young yet have consistently provided positive results over the years.
